Easy Pork & Tofu Enchiladas – Best Tips
⭐ Tips and Tricks for Perfect Pork & Tofu Enchiladas
- Drain tofu well to prevent watery enchiladas and create a firm, flavorful filling
- Brown the pork properly for deeper, richer flavor
- Warm tortillas before rolling to prevent cracking and tearing
- Spread sauce on the bottom of the pan to prevent sticking and add extra flavor
- Don’t overfill tortillas — 2–3 tablespoons of filling works best
- Use freshly shredded cheese for a smooth, creamy melted topping
- Let enchiladas rest 5–10 minutes before serving for clean slices
- Cover with foil while baking to prevent over-browning
Ingredient Notes
- Ground Pork – Use lean ground pork for a lighter, less greasy filling

- Cheese – Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a Mexican blend all work beautifully
- BBQ Sauce – Adds a subtle smoky flavor and unique twist
🔄 Variations
- Spicy Version – Add diced jalapeños or hot sauce
- Low-Carb Option – Use low-carb tortillas
