  • 1 250 grams Wheat noodles Asian

Creamy White Asian Sesame Noodle Sauce

  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt or sour cream for extra creaminess
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce lightly added for flavor, not color
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp honey or sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic finely minced
  • 1 –2 tbsp warm water to thin if needed

Hoisin Soy Chicken Glaze

  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 –2 tsp water for a glossy coating

Garnish

  • Green onions chopped
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Chicken Prep Stage (Marinate & Cook)
    Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized cubes.
    Optional quick marinade (10–15 minutes for extra flavor):1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp garlic
    Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with a small amount of oil.
    Cook chicken until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
    Reduce heat and pour in hoisin chicken sauce mixture.
    Stir until chicken is fully coated, glossy, and slightly caramelized.
    Set aside.
  • Cook the noodles
    Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water. Toss lightly with a drop of sesame oil to keep them smooth and non-sticky.
  • Prep the vegetables
    Chop romaine or Boston lettuce
    Slice purple cabbage into thin strips
    Cut carrots into long julienne strips
    Chop green onions for garnish
  • Make the creamy white sesame noodle sauce
    Whisk together mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and warm water until smooth and pale creamy white.
    Adjust thickness: Thicker = more mayo/yogurt; Lighter = more water
  • Assemble the salad
    In a large bowl:
    Add lettuce, cabbage, carrots, and noodles
    Toss noodles lightly with creamy white sesame sauce
    Layer hoisin chicken on top
