  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ¾ tsp dried dill
  • ½ tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp salt plus more to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Optional but amazing:

  • ½ tsp celery seed adds deli-style chicken salad flavor
  • pinch of crushed red pepper

Instructions
 

  • Mix the dressing
    In a bowl whisk together:
Greek yogurt, mayo, lemon juice, vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, oregano, salt, pepper (and celery seed if using).
    Taste it — it should be tangy, herby, and savory.
  • Toss the salad
    Add shredded chicken, celery, shredded carrot, diced red onion, and parsley into a large bowl.
    Pour dressing over top and mix until everything is evenly coated.
