Blackberry Sunset Mocktail

Blackberry Sunset Mocktail

A vibrant, two-layered virgin cocktail with deep berry richness on the bottom and a golden citrus float on top. Visually striking and deliciously refreshing!

Ingredients (for 1 drink):

Bottom Layer – Dark Berry Base

Top Layer – Sunset Orange Float

  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) orange mango juice (chilled)
(or a 3:1 mix of orange juice and mango nectar)
  • 1 tbsp peach juice or apricot nectar (optional, for added depth and color)
  • 1 tsp grenadine (optional, for color enhancement)
  • 3–4 ice cubes

Garnish (optional)

  • Fresh blackberries
  • Orange peel twist
  • Mint sprig

Instructions:

  1. Build the Bottom Layer:
Pour theSplit Tree Blackberry & Blackcurrant Cordialinto a 1-cup glass.
Add the club soda and lime juice. Stir gently to combine. Let it settle for a few seconds.
  2. Prepare the Top Layer:
In a separate cup or shaker, mix the orange mango juice, peach juice, and grenadine (if using).
Carefully place the ice cubes into the glass over the berry layer—this helps maintain separation.
  3. Float the Orange Layer:
Using the back of a spoon, slowly pour the citrus mix over the ice and into the glass. The layers should stay distinct with a beautiful gradient effect.
  4. Garnish & Serve:
Top with a fresh blackberry, a twist of orange peel, or a mint sprig to finish.

 Tips:

  • Want a tropical twist? Substitute mango juice with passionfruit nectar.
  • For extra fizz and citrus pop, try orange San Pellegrino or tangerine soda instead of juice in the top layer. Just pour gently to keep the drink layered.
